On June 14th, 2022, real estate development and avenue Management Company, From the Roots, announced accession and revamp of Mt. Laurel Performing Arts Center located in Lehman Township. This 52-acre land sitting ideal for decades is now getting a new amphitheater. As per the sources, this land is being rebuilt into a multi-million dollar entertainment center with a 10,000 capacity open-air, gentle slope amphitheater, a lakeside theatre that can accommodate 400 people, and a 10,000 sq. feet banquet hall with a commercial kitchen.
This entertainment center will be called Poconos Park. Once completed the park will operate as a boutique festival site and will also host events like corporate retreats, weddings, touring shows, and productions. The amphitheater can also be converted into 2600 seat enclosed venue. As per CEO/founder ‘From the Roots’, John M. Oakes, the venue is plan to host its opening events later this year starting with boutique festivals. As per the sources, some events are expected to announce in the coming months.
